Daryl Duke & William Vince Scholarships
The British Columbia Film Foundation's Daryl Duke & William Vince Scholarships are intended to honour the significant contributions of Mr. Duke and Mr. Vince to the film and television industry by assisting in the advanced training of outstanding BC filmmakers.
Two Daryl Duke Scholarships and one William Vince Scholarship - in the amount of $10,000 each - will be awarded to exceptional BC filmmakers who have completed basic training in their field and are entering advanced education in film.
Eligible disciplines include writing, directing, producing, cinematography, art direction, picture editing, sound design, visual effects and interactive media.
The Application Deadline for 2010/2011 has now passed.
The British Columbia Film Foundation is a charitable foundation established by British Columbia Film in 2008 with the intention to advance the study and teaching of Canadian film, television and new media studies through the provision of scholarships to students. The Daryl Duke & William Vince Scholarship Program is supported by the BC Chapter of the Directors Guild of Canada and individual donations contributed in Mr. Duke’s and Mr. Vince's memories.
